Undergraduate Business Association Hosts 'Business Day at FGCU' March 31

FORT MYERS, FL - The Florida Gulf Coast Undergraduate Business Student Association hosts the Second Annual Business Day at FGCU, Wednesday, March 31 in the Whitaker Hall Sprint Room including a luncheon, noon to 2 p.m., sponsored by TIAA-CREF.

Five local business leaders will visit classrooms throughout the day. FGCU expects 120 invited guests at the luncheon including business executives, faculty, students and retired TIAA-CREF members. The theme is "The Changing Shape of Southwest Florida."

Three panelists will speak during the luncheon including executive director of the Southwest Florida International Airport Robert Ball, president of Colonial Bank Harlan Parrish and president of FindWhat.com Craig Pisaris-Henderson.

Ball will discuss current and future endeavors of the airport and its impact on the region's growth.

Parrish will speak about Colonial Bank's growth and the broader context of changes in the banking industry.

Pisaris-Henderson will talk about the growth of his company and its success in the midst of an industry characterized by start-up failures.
