FGCU Center for Environmental and Sustainability Education Hosts Leading Latin American Poet, Environmentalist Homero Aridjis in Annual Rachel Carson Distinguished Lecture Event

WHO FGCU Center for Environmental and Sustainability Education, for the public

WHAT "Rachel Carson Distinguished Lecture Hosts Latin American Poet and Environmentalist Homero Aridjis" in two lectures titled, "Eyes to See Otherwise." Aridjis is former Ambassador to Switzerland and the Netherlands, award-winning writer, conservationist and scholar.

WHEN 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23

WHERE 1:30 p.m. at FGCU Arts Complex 112, Theater Lab

7:30 p.m. at Thomas A. Edison Congregational Church, 1616 Llewellyn Drive, Ft. Myers (off McGregor, near the Edison-Ford Estates)

WHY The Center for Environmental and Sustainability Education works toward realizing a sustainable and peaceful future through scholarship, education and action. The Rachel Carson Distinguished Lecture and the Terry Tempest Student Dialogue are the Center's signature events.
