FGCU Hosts the Children's Summer Leadership Experience "The Money Game" Summer Camp

FORT MYERS, FL - Florida Gulf Coast University hosts "The Money Game" summer camp for kids who are interested in theme parks and money. Designed for children in grades five and higher, "The Money Game" is a summer experience in teamwork, leadership and business, weekdays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., June 18 through June 29 in Alico Arena.

Each child designs and runs a theme park attraction with $100 of startup money. Whatever profits children make, they keep.

"The Money Game" is offered through the FGCU Wachovia Consortium for Consumer and Financial Education, which supports educational events for seniors, children and web-based education designed to enhance consumer literacy and the financial health of citizens.

Wachovia, McDonald's, Wal-Mart, Germain Motor Sports, and Moe's Southwest Grill are sponsors.
