U.S. Bank Establishes Endowed Fund at FGCU to Benefit
Students with Financial Needs
FORT MYERS, FL - Florida Gulf Coast University announced today that U.S. Bank made a $10,000 donation to establish the U.S. Bank Scholarship Endowed Fund that benefits qualified students with financial needs.
This is U.S. Bank's first gift to FGCU. Headquartered in Minneapolis, U.S. Bancorp is the parent company of U.S. Bank. The bank is the sixth largest commercial bank in the United States, and has two trust and investment service offices in Florida -Naples and West Palm Beach.
"We are very pleased to establish the U.S. Bank Scholarship Fund at Florida Gulf Coast University," said Greg Holtz, senior vice president and managing director of U.S. Bank Private Client Group.
