Southwest Florida Small Business Resource Network Hosts
"Experts to Define Insurance Needs for Owners" at Monthly Networking Event
FORT MYERS, FL - The Southwest Florida Small Business Resource Network (SBRN) holds its monthly "Network After Five" event, 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, July 17 at Florida Gulf Coast University's Center for Leadership and Innovation, 12751 Westlinks Drive, Building 3, Unit 7 in Gateway. The event is a monthly meeting for the Southwest Florida SBRN sponsored by Florida Gulf Coast's Small Business Development Center.
Meeting theme this month is "Experts to Define Insurance Needs for Owners." Facilitator for the evening is Reggie Blackmon, CEO of Gryphon Group of Fort Myers. Blackmon provides an overview of the importance of business insurance.
Other speakers include Ashby Axelgard of Service Master and Geoffrey Hastings of First Comp Insurance. Axelgard discusses disaster preparedness for small business, and Hastings explains what business owners need to know regarding Workers' Compensation insurance.
Following the meeting is the Resource Network's monthly "Network After Five" social event where members have the opportunity to network and exchange ideas for growing their businesses.
Deadline for registration is July 15. Cost for SBRN members is $15 per person for hors d'oeuvres, with cash bar available. Guest fee is $20.
