FGCU Small Business Development Center Presents Seminar on Exporting Aug. 8
FORT MYERS, FL – The Small Business Development Center at Florida Gulf Coast University presents “Introduction to Exporting” seminar, 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Friday, Aug. 8 at the Charlotte County Economic Development Center, 18501 Murdock Circle, Suite 502 in Port Charlotte.
This seminar is designed for small businesses interested in learning about the basics on exporting. Areas of information covered at the seminar include target marketing, competition, distributing abroad, U.S. Commercial Services & Enterprise as a resource to exporting companies, and impact of international trade on Florida’s economy.
Presenters include Dan Regelski, director of FGCU Small Business Development Center; Peter Keating, Charlotte SBDC at FGCU and counselor for small businesses; Sandra Campbell, international trade specialist, U.S. Dept. of Commerce Export Assistance Center; Rebecca Torres, regional manager, International Trade at Enterprise Florida; and Kay Tracy of Charlotte County Economic Development Center.
