FGCU Continuing Education and Off Campus Programs Presents "The Psychobiology of Trauma," Human Trafficking Symposium Series

WHO FGCU Continuing Education and Off-Campus Programs and Center for Public and Social Policy, in partnership with Lee County Sheriff's Office, for the public

WHAT "The Psychobiology of Trauma," second session in a series of free continuing education programs offering practical guidelines for practitioners and the general public seeking a more in-depth understanding of issues and actions related to human trafficking. Teresa Descilo, MSW, CTS, executive director at Trauma Resolution Center in Miami, is the
presenter for this session.

WHY Participants will learn to:
     Discuss an overview of the psychobiology of trauma
     Describe the impact that the psychobiology of trauma has on the brain, behavior and body
     Describe what constitutes effective treatment for those who are traumatized
