FGCU Florida Institute of Government Presents Workshops in Honor of National Boss's Day
FORT MYERS, FL - In honor of National Boss's Day, The Florida Institute of Government at Florida Gulf Coast University offers two managerial training workshops designed for leaders and managers who are looking for ways to become a better boss by taking their staff to the next level, 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 16 in Student Union 213. Lorna Kibbey is facilitator for the workshops.
Beginning at 8:30 a.m., "The People Side of Learning" workshop teaches participants how to get motivated so they can motivate others, examine ways to increase confidence and optimism, and practice two powerful techniques that will immediately improve communication.
The second workshop follows at 1 p.m. "Mechanics of Management" workshop teaches participants ways to share the load that will improve overall performance, explore the role of delegation in employee satisfaction and development, examine proven methods for building a winning team, and analyze methods for setting up effective communication.
Seating is limited, and cost for each session is $69. Register for one session or for both.
