FGCU Appoints Isaac Brundage Director of Community Outreach
FORT MYERS, FL - Florida Gulf Coast University appointed Isaac Brundage to the position of director of Community Outreach in the Division of Administrative Services, effective Aug. 1. Previously, he held leadership roles in FGCU's College Reach Out Program and the Office of Housing and Residence Life.
"Mr. Brundage brings a wealth of experience working in the communities of the five-county areas, and working with students, faculty and staff on the university campus," said Joe Shepard, vice president for Administrative Services and Finance. As director of Community Outreach, Mr. Brundage will assist and participate in the campus-wide effort to achieve enrollment and student retention goals."
In addition, Brundage will be responsible for enhancing the University's visibility among diverse external community constituencies and engaging them with internal campus units with similar strategic visions, goals and objectives. He will also be responsible for facilitating, coordinating and providing assistance that links diversity perspectives and academic multicultural initiatives to the University's mission of higher education.
An alumnus of FGCU, Brundage earned his Master of Education in Educational Leadership in 2002. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology/Education from Florida A&M University in 1994.
