FORT MYERS, FL - The Renaissance Academy at Florida Gulf Coast University has partnered with Viking River Cruises, the world's premier luxury river boat cruise company, to offer a 13-day Russian river cruise, May 28 to June 10, 2010.
Starting at $3,986 for the cruise-portion only, this monumental itinerary includes multiple days in both St. Petersburg (Venice of the East) and Moscow.

FGCU's Renaissance Academy, a lifelong learning program for adults, seniors and retirees, was created to enrich the intellectual and cultural lives of the Southwest Florida community. Founded in January 2001, and now the region's premiere lifelong learning program, the Renaissance Academy is committed to the concept that learning should never cease, and that keeping the mind intellectually, creatively and culturally active fundamentally enriches and invigorates lives.
Among the Renaissance Academy's offerings are affordable, non-credit single lectures, short courses, day trips, computer classes, film series, life enrichment classes, writing workshops, travel abroad programs and other special events providing academic substance in an interactive format that encourages the exchange of ideas and provides both intellectual stimulation and personal enjoyment.
Affordable course fees, typically $25 per lecture, provide access to Academy programs located at 15 locations throughout Collier, Lee and Charlotte counties. These locations include the Naples Center on 5th Avenue, Tower Pointe at Arbor Trace in North Naples, Atrium Executive Center in Ft. Myers, FGCU Main Campus, Marco Island, Cape Coral and Cypress Cove.
