FGCU Florida Institute of Government Presents 6th Annual Administrative Assistants' Day Conference
FORT MYERS, FL - The Florida Institute of Government at Florida Gulf Coast University presents the 6th Annual Administrative Assistants' Day Conference designed for individuals looking for better ways manage their time and thrive, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 27 in the Student Union ballroom. Dr. Ava Fluty and Jacquelyn Ferguson are facilitators for the conference.
Beginning at 8:30 a.m. with "Striving for Authenticity," participants will learn techniques to live consciously; use intrinsic/extrinsic values and motivators to make desired changes; uncover the values they hold close, as well as creating value for others; and utilize assertiveness to enhance growth and success.
The second workshop follows with "Creating Principles to Live By." Attendees will learn how to examine optimism, attitude and motivation; understand impact of their actions and tools for building a successful network/team; and identify what they want, and the steps needed to get there.
Cost for the conference is $129, and includes continental breakfast and lunch.
