FGCU's Office of Continuing Education and Off-Campus Programs Offers Media Specialists' Prep Course, a Summer Program for Teachers
FORT MYERS, FL - In collaboration with Florida Gulf Coast University's College of Education, the Office of Continuing Education and Off-Campus Programs offers an online course to help teachers understand the role of the media specialist in the schools and prepare them for the endorsement exam. The online course runs from June 15 to Aug. 1.
Available 24/7, the program is convenient and accessible from any computer. In addition, students will obtain feedback from the instructor, an expert in the field, to help strengthen specific skill sets. The course prepares students to successfully pass and receive the State of Florida Media Specialist endorsement.

Instructor for the course is Sandra K. Agle, Ed.D, who oversees Fine Arts, Media Services, Safety, Substitutes & World Languages, and Curriculum Staff Development Center at the Lee County Public Education Center in Fort Myers.
Agle earned a Doctorate of Education in Curriculum and Instructional Leadership from Nova Southeastern University, a Master of Science in Instructional Technology from University of South Florida, and a Bachelor of Science in Science in Education from Memphis State University.
