FGCU Hosts "Let's Talk: Dialogue Among Leaders of Local Christian, Jewish and Muslim Congregations"
FORT MYERS, FL - Florida Gulf Coast University's Center for Judaic, Holocaust and Human Rights Studies presents "Let's Talk: Dialogue among Leaders of Local Christian, Jewish and Muslim Congregations," 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 30 in the Student Union Ballroom. The event is free and open to the public.
Attendees will learn about the relation between the religions and theologies of Christian, Jewish and Muslim faiths, and the political movements that proclaim their respective banners.
The talk will be moderated by Rabbi James Rudin, and features a panel with Rabbi Jeremy Barras, Abdul'haq Muhammad, and Rev. Kathleen L. Kircher. Discussion table facilitators include Rabbi James Perman, Rabbi Adam Miller, Pastor Walter Still, Ann Jacobson and Gerald Melnick. The program is underwritten in part honoring the memory of Saul Stern.
