FGCU Small Business Development Center Celebrates National Small Business Week with Free Networking and Mini Tradeshow
FORT MYERS, FL - The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Florida Gulf Coast University and Southwest Florida Small Business Resource Network (SBRN) team up to kick-off National Small Business Week with a free networking and mini tradeshow event 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, May 17 at the Hilton Garden Inn - Airport, 16410 Corporate Commerce Way, Fort Myers.
Every year since 1963, the President of the United States has proclaimed National Small Business Week to recognize the contributions of small businesses to the economic well-being of America.
"It's very important to recognize and patronize small businesses, as they are the backbone of America, and this event is a celebration in its honor," said Dan Regelski, director for the SBDC.
The theme for the evening's festivities is "Summer Fun," and includes refreshments provided by Hilton Garden Inn-Airport, door prizes and cash bar. Guests are encouraged to network and exchange ideas, and visit vendors.
