FGCU Small Business Development Center Hosts Workshops at the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce
FORT MYERS, FL - The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Florida Gulf Coast University will host two workshops at the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce, located at 2390 Tamiami Trail N, Ste. 210 in Naples on Thursday, July 26, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
How to Get Certified as a Minority, Woman or Service Disabled Veteran Enterprise will be presented by Millie Class, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program coordinator and certified business analyst for the SBDC. She is a minority/women civil rights advocate, and has more than 25 years of corporate experience in business management. "Government contracting is a good idea. It takes your business to the next level," said Class.
In addition, Frequently Asked Questions about Starting a Business/Financing will be presented by program facilitator and certified business analyst Julio Estremera on Thursday, Aug. 9, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Estremera's entrepreneurial background and networking abilities in the Collier County community have helped him to promote the small business programs in the mainstream areas, as well as the rural areas of Immokalee, Hendry and Glades Counties.
SBDC certified business consultants are available every Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and provide no-cost confidential counseling for small business owners.
