Southwest Florida Small Business Resource Network Hosts Conflict Management Discussion at Monthly Meeting
FORT MYERS, Fla. - The Southwest Florida Small Business Resource Network (SBRN) will host a networking and discussion event about conflict management for small business owners 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 18, at the Holiday Inn, Fort Myers Airport @ Town Center, 9931 Interstate Commerce Drive, Fort Myers. SBRN, a statewide organization, is sponsored locally by Florida Gulf Coast University's Small Business Development Center.
The speaker for the evening is Keith Grossman, attorney and mediator for Grossman Law and Conflict Management. Grossman will discuss tips for managing conflict that will reduce headaches and legal liability for business owners. Recognizing that employees are the biggest investment of any business, he will offer three solid tips to improve employee performance, increase profits, and reduce lawsuits. The meeting is sponsored by Wells Fargo.
The evening begins with the Resource Network's monthly "Network after Five" social event where members and guests network and exchange ideas for growing their business. Cost for SBRN members is $15 per person, which includes hors d'oeuvres. Guests and unaffiliated small business owners pay $25 per person.
