Outstanding Graduates Honored with FGCU Alumni of Distinction Society and Soaring Eagles Society Awards
FORT MYERS, Fla. - Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) Alumni Association Board of Directors welcomed one distinguished graduate into the Alumni of Distinction Society, and three graduates into the Soaring Eagles Society at the annual Celebration of Excellence awards ceremony on April 19.
The Alumni of Distinction Society is the highest honor the association bestows on a deserving graduate. This year, the FGCU Alumni of Distinction Society award was presented to Jim Robinson, 1999 graduate of the Lutgert College of Business. He was recently named partner at the law firm of White and Case based in Miami-Dade.
This year, the Alumni Association welcomed three graduates into the Soaring Eagles Society. The Soaring Eagles Society honors alumni who have earned a degree from FGCU within the last decade and are considered a rising star in their profession. The recipients are: Ann Reuter, Tiffany Esposito-Kittinger, and Ashley Izzo.
Reuter is a 2011 graduate of the Lutgert College of Business. She earned a bachelor's degree in finance. She is currently employed at FineMark National Bank & Trust Administration & Investment Associate.
Esposito-Kittinger received a bachelor's degree in communications in 2009 from the College of Arts and Sciences, and completed a master's degree in business administration in 2012 from the Lutgert College of Business. She is director of Operations at the Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce.
Izzo is a graduate of the College of Education. She earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education in 2008. She teaches first grade, and is a grade level team leader at Gateway Charter School.
