FGCU Summer Youth Fun Camp
Hosted by FGCU Athletics
Camp Type: Athletic
Age Requirements: Boys and Girls Ages 5 - 12
Camp Description: This camp is geared toward youth who want to come out and enjoy themselves for an entire week playing games like kickball, whiffle ball, soccer, and capture the flag just to name a few. Baseball skills will be taught as well, but we really want the kids to enjoy themselves and have a great time with their friends from the local community.

Age Requirements: 8 - 13
Camp Objectives: To teach fundamentals of all aspects of the game: throwing, catching hitting, slapping, bunting, base running, etc. The camp will develop proper mechanics as well as situational thinking. Individual work at a player’s specific position will be incorporated.

Camp Description: These are intense and fun training sessions with a focus on the specific technical and tactical aspects of Futsal and it's relation to soccer.  The goal is to grow the game of Futsal at the youth level – enhancing the skills of all soccer players as well as providing a fun and safe playing environment.

Camp Description: Players will be grouped by skill level at which point high repetition training will guide the sessions. The emphasis is on maintaining a fast paced and challenging environment that will foster skill development and player growth. Coaches will cover all phases of the game and positional specific opportunities will be presented within each session.

Camp Description: This camp is a program for bright and talented middle school students interested in investigating concepts in mathematics that are not usually introduced at the middle school level. The program focuses on improving problem solving abilities, strengthening communication skills and developing collaboration and leadership skills.
