This educational network of scientists, researchers and resource managers meet quarterly to share research and discuss restoration priorities in the area watersheds. Sarah graduated in 2007 with a Master’s of Environmental Science from Florida Gulf Coast University, focusing her thesis research on the assessment of the benefits of environmental education and its impact on environmental literacy among fifth graders in Lee County. She has been involved professionally in environmental education and training for over ten years, serving in the Agricultural Program of the Peace Corps in Senegal, West Africa and working for both the National Park Service in Point Reyes, California and in the Everglades National Park as a Park Ranger in Interpretation and Environmental Education. She also worked in the Environmental Learning Center at the Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve.
