Jason is originally from Indiana, but has lived in such places as rural Texas, east Tennessee, Massachusetts, and Florida. After attending the University of Tennessee, he transferred to Indiana University and graduated with a degree in Psychology. After graduation, Jason pursued a career in marine mammal behavioral training and research. This career took him from the frigid winters of the Midwest to the tropical climate of the Florida Keys. After several years in the Keys, Jason decided that it was time for a career change. In 2003, he moved to Massachusetts and obtained a degree in Movement Science from Westfield State College.
Jason now holds numerous fitness certifications, including: NSCA-CSCS, ACSM-HFI, Spinning, and is also a PADI Rescue Diver and a USATF Level II Running Coach. Jason manages the FGCU Fitness Center and oversees Group Fitness, Personal Training, and the Fitness Center Floor Staff. He also designs and implements Fitness Center programming such as Fitlab and Ultimate Fitlab. Come by the Fitness Center and talk with Jason today!

Tia graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Leisure Services Programming and then attended the University of Tennessee where she received her Masters in Recreation Management and Administration (GO VOLS!!) She has been working in the Recreation field since the summer of 1998 when she traveled to Japan to work on a US military base running a summer camp program.
Originally from Iowa, Tia moved to Florida in 2004 to work at the FGCU Aquatics Center and to escape the cold of the North. In June of 2008, Tia accepted the position of Informal Recreation Coordinator for which she is responsible for supervising the Fitness Center front desk, the marketing department, special events, and student development. Tia enjoys her job because of her wonderful staff and because of the amazing growth of Florida Gulf Coast University and Southwest Florida.

Christa graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a degree in Psychology and is now completing her Masters degree in Professional Counseling at Liberty University. She began working for FGCU with Adaptive services in 2003 but upon becoming a Group Fitness Instructor she transferred to the Fitness Center and began working for Campus Recreation. In 2007 she became certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine for personal training. Christa is currently the Group Fitness Supervisor and teaches Bootcamps, Yogalates, Spin, and Ab Attack classes. She loves sharing her knowledge and working with college-aged students. Her favorite thing is seeing people become excited over health and fitness

Lindsay is originally from Indiana but was raised in California. After returning to Indiana for high school, Lindsay decided it was time for some warm weather again, so she migrated to Fort Myers in 2002 to attend Florida Gulf Coast University. Lindsay earned her bachelor's degree in Marketing as well as her Master's in Business Administration here at FGCU. Lindsay started her journey with campus recreation during her last year of graduate school as a Group Fitness Instructor. Upon graduating, Lindsay was then offered the position of Informal Recreation Assistant where she is responsible for marketing all Campus Recreation programs, developing and coordinating Campus Recreation special events, and supervising the front desk staff.
