Personal Training Session

PERSONAL TRAINING is ideal for any individual who is looking for a little bit extra from their workout.  The Fitness Center offers a wide array of personal training programs designed to meet your specific goals and needs.  From high intensity sport-specific training to specialized weight loss programs, the Campus Recreation Personal Trainers can help with it all.

PERSONAL TRAINING: FGCU STUDENTS

FGCU students have the option of either signing up for personal training or participating in our Free Personal Training program.  By purchasing a package, students ensure that they get the trainer they want during the time of day that is most convenient for them.  By participating in our Free Personal Training program, students will not be charged but do not get to choose their trainer and must abide by the times and dates available.  Either way, FGCU Campus Rec has the training program for you.  Call today!  239-590-7935.

PERSONAL TRAINING: FGCU FACULTY & STAFF and/or Members*

FGCU Faculty, Staff, and Facility members may work with our outstanding personal training staff to meet your fitness goals.  Not a member, then consider purchasing a membership.  Personal Training packages are available; the more you buy, the more you save, so call today!  239-590-7935.

PERSONALIZED WORKOUTS are perfect for anyone who is looking for some added focus or redirection in their workouts.  After undergoing a Fitness Assessment with one of our Personal Trainers, a program will be designed that best meets your individual goals.  The Personal Trainer will then go through the program with you in order to ensure proper form and to answer any questions you may have; after that, you are on your own.  Payment for Personal Workouts may be made by cash, check,or *credit card.  Please call 239-590-7935 for current prices.

Getting Started with Personal Training:
Come to the Recreation Center or contact Jason Davis at 239-590-7333 or jdavis@fgcu.edu to schedule an appointment.  First, a Fitness Assessment will be scheduled.  A Fitness Assessment is a free half-hour discussion about your goals, exercise history, nutritional habits, and medical history.  Any questions about your program, goals, or personal training in general will be answered at this time.  A time and date will then be established between you and your personal trainer to begin your training. If you do not choose a specific personal trainer, one will be chosen for you based on your goals, preference, and workout availability.  Please keep in mind, you have the final say in who your trainer will be as the goal is to be happy and find a trainer who you are most comfortable with.
