Intramural Sports

IM officials

Are you interested in becoming an Intramural Sports Official?  Officials are responsible for ensuring intramural sports are played fairly and the games are safe and organized. All Campus Recreation officials are currently-enrolled students at the university who are trained by Campus Recreation professional staff members.

Campus Recreation develops officials through on-campus training sessions, off-campus officiating clinics and extramural tournaments. Campus Recreation is committed to providing the best opportunities for student officials to learn and showcase what they have already learned. Our officials have represented FGCU at conferences, clinics and tournaments around the state of Florida and beyond. We take great pride in our student officials and in fostering an environment in which they can enhance not only their officiating skills but their communication and leadership skills as well.

Campus Recreation is one of the largest employer of students on campus and is always in search of qualified people to work within our facilities and program areas.  We understand that a student's class schedule is important and strive to be flexible with our scheduling during the week and throughout school holidays.  Visit our Employment Opportunities page to apply for an official's position, and to view other job descriptions within Campus Recreation.
