"Imagination is more important than knowledge." - Albert Enstein.
When did we start FGCU OUTDOORS?
We began the FGCU Outdoors program in the summer of 2006. We have several distinct programming areas that include outdoor trips, clinics, personalized outdoor recreational skill training, a team building challenge course, a 18 hole disc golf course, and a freshwater beach area which includes a large variety of student activities including sailing, kayaking, canoing, paddleboating, waterskiing, wakeboarding, tubing, wake surfing, including equipment rental for a nominal fee. All trips and watefront areas are staffed by fully trained trip leaders and lifeguards.
What is FGCU OUTDOORS?
The FGCU Outdoors Program at Florida Gulf Coast University offers a variety of outdoor programs for students, faculty, and staff. We are a growing program that is located on Eagle Beach along Lake Como. You must have a valid FGCU Student ID to gain access to all FGCU Outdoors resources. All trip sign-ups are on a first-come, first serve basis.
How do I get more involved with FGCU OUTDOORS?
