How to Rent a Bike and Equipment:

1. Come to the Outdoor Pursuits Basecamp (behind Alico Arena) and bring your student ID.
   You may want to call Outdoor Pursuits at 239-590-1419 to check for bike availability.
2. Sign the Liability and Agreement Form 
   You can print it here and have it filled out ahead of time if you would like 
3. Present your student ID and the equipment will then be checked out onto your Eagle account
4. To reduce consumption of paper you will be issued a Pedal Power card that will be kept on file which will allow you access to the Pedal Power program for an entire academic year
5. Take your bike and ENJOY for up to 7 days!!!

How To Return your Bike and Equipment:

• ALL rented gear should be returned to the OP Basecamp on or before your 7th rental day
   
• Return gear during business hours (10am-5pm) or after business hours (5pm-10am). 
  
  After business hours requires that you place bike against railing in front of OP Basecamp, then lock bike and helmet to the railing ensuring the lock goes through the helmet straps, the bike frame and front or rear wheelchain of your bike and all equipment up to the Outdoor Pursuits basecamp ramp.
• After gear has been secured to railing, place key in lockbox

Thing to Remember:

• Late Charges
  Bikes returned late will be assessed a $10 late fee per day. All bike accessories (helmet, lock, key, lights, etc.) will be assessed a $1 late fee per day. If bikes and/or accessories are not returned within 10 days following return date, the item will be assumed lost — strictly enforced.
• Repairs/Cleaning/Damage
  Allow 5-10 minutes for items to be inspected upon return.  Gear must be returned clean and in good working order.  Renter may be held responsible for costs associated with all repair work needed (outside normal wear and tear).   Fees will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
• Theft and Lost
  Florida Gulf Coast University, Campus Recreation, and Outdoor Pursuits are not responsible for loss or theft of rented equipment. If equipment is not returned, renter will be charged replacement cost.
