POWERLIFTING
The FGCU Power Club is a collection of students that come together to train and learn how to compete in various weighted sports, such as Power Lifting, Olympic Lifting, Scottish High Land Games and Strong Man/Woman training. Founded in the Fall semester of 2003 they have come leaps and bounds in the past 4 years. Their accomplishments include hosting Florida State Power Lifting Championships and Strongman Competitions, currently holding no less than 30 Florida State Power Lifting records and one male member placing 3rd in the Collegiate National Power Lifting Championships this Spring in Texas!

HOCKEY
FGCU Hockey had one of the most memorable and successful seasons in their history, the six month, forty three game, inaugural Division two season came to a close for the Eagles with a thrilling 6-5 overtime victory over the San Jose State Spartans at the 2007 American College Hockey Association's (ACHA) D2 National Championships in Fort Collins, Colorado. It was a storybook season for the Eagles who found themselves as the new kids on the block amongst some of the country's most recognized, established, and talented college hockey teams, but even so ending as the 13th best team in the Nation!!
NEW for the 2007/2008 season is FGCU EAGLES HOCKEY Division 3 team with their first game against the Embry-Riddle Eagles on Friday October 12th.

DANCING DIVAS
The Dancing Divas Sport Club is one of the newest member of the Sport Club family. They have got off to a fantastic start by raising over $1500 in sponsorship and donation dollars and over $2500 from their first ever Youth Summer Dance Camp!
