Solicitation on Campus
Solicitation is defined as any activity designed to advertise, promote, or sell any product or commercial service or encourage support for, or membership in, any group, association, or organization.
Individuals and organizations may not solicit on campus without making a reservation with Campus Reservations and with out completing a solicitor's permit application. Permission will not be granted for an activity that violates University policies, or local, state and/or federal laws.

Distribution of Literature
FGCU Departments and Student Organizations
- Literature may only be distributed from information tables reserved through Campus Reservations.
- All literature distributed must clearly identify the sponsoring organization or department.
- All individuals or organizations distributing literature will be held responsible for cleaning up litter resulting from its distribution.
- Distribution by means involving shouting, yelling, or physically approaching individuals is prohibited, as is any interference with normal functions or interruption of the free flow of traffic, inside or outside University buildings.
- Fundraising tables will require that a Application for Solicitor's Permit be completed and approved.
Dsitribution of information by Outside Groups and organizations
Any literature, commercial or otherwise, may not be distributed in the building unless approval of an Application for Solicitor's Permit has been granted from Campus Reservations and the Office of Campus Involvement.
Recruitment for Part-time/Fulltime Employment Organizations and businesses wishing to recruit students for employment, may contact Career Development Services at (239) 590-7946. A representative from that department will work directly with Campus Reservations on your behalf.
