How Much Do You Owe?

Students can check the status of what they owe the University at any time from financial information under Account Summary on Gulfline with their student ID number and pin number. Students may also come into the Cashier's Office during business hours to obtain this information. We cannot give this information over the phone or via e-mail due to the FERPA regulations. Please be aware that we do not invoice or send statements.

If your fees have been pended against financial aid, agency/3rd party billings, and/or Florida Prepaid College Plan you only need to pay the balance due, if any, after deducting the amount pended. Your financial aid may be estimated (especially Bright Futures and Academic scholarships). Therefore, you may be under/over paid after your financial aid is actually received and paid out. Please check your balance due, if any, through Gulfline.

Please check your account often through Gulfline to determine the status of your account, especially during drop/add week. As your financial aid or 3rd party billings pay out, your balance will be reduced. Once your obligations to the University have been paid the remaining money will be refunded to you by check through the mail.

Refunds

Refunds are processed and mailed to the address shown on the Registrar's files for any student whose account shows an overpayment after the last day to pay fees. Students due refunds are not required to submit refund requests; refunds are automatically calculated. If there is an amount due in the accounts receivable system, that amount will be deducted from any refund due.
