The mission of the Center for Academic Achievement (CAA) is to support student academic retention and foster student academic development within the University’s learning environment. The CAA supports all FGCU students in achieving their academic goals and assists them in becoming independent and confident learners. The CAA strives to promote positive learning experiences for each student.
The CAA accomplishes this objective through two primary programs: the Academic Retention Program and the Student Instructional Support Program. The CAA programs support FGCU students by providing Supplemental Instruction, Walk-in Tutor labs, Individualized Academic Planning, Eagle Wings Mentoring, Student Development workshops and Test Preparatory workshops.
