Transient students are students who attend FGCU for only one term before returning to their home institutions. There are two types of transient students:
*State University System (SUS) transient student is a student in good standing who is seeking a degree from a public Florida university and desires to take courses with FGCU. Students are aske to complete the SUS Transient Application form which is available online at Florida Virtual Campus. No application fee is required for SUS students. Contact the Office of the Registrar for more information at ORR@fgcu.edu.
*The other category of transient students are guest students who are degree seeking at an out-of-state institution, an in-state private institution or a Florida state college and wish to take classes at FGCU. These students need to contact FGCU Undergraduate or Graduate Admissions as appropriate to fill out an application.
Both of these categories of students enroll at FGCU as non-degree-seeking students.
