RICHARD PEGNETTER, Founding Dean of Business, and Professor of Management. Ph.D. in Industrial and Labor Relations, Cornell University (1971). He established the Center for Leadership and Innovation at FGCU to develop relationships with area business executives and support regional economic development. His academic focus is negotiations and conflict resolution, and he is a nationally certified, neutral arbitrator in labor-management disputes. He is active in national accreditation and conference speaker roles for AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. In 2005, he was on the statewide Board of Regents for Leadership Florida.
