Dan Regelski is the Director of the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Florida Gulf Coast University for over 17 years. He is a member of the Lutgert College of Business Leadership Team and a member of the Management Department’s faculty team. Throughout his career, Dan taught in colleges and universities about the essential of business management, marketing & entrepreneurship.

Growing up in an entrepreneurial environment in upstate New York, Dan began working and learning from his father in a large agribusiness. After serving in the Army Dan went into a retail career that spanned over 25 years. Throughout his career, Dan taught in colleges and universities about the essential of Business Management and Marketing.

Dan received many awards over the years, including the Economic Patriotism Award from Gov. Bush for his work with the business community post 911, recognition from the United States Small Business Administration, The Champion Award from SW Florida Works in 2011 and the 4-Way Test from the Ft Myers Rotary, South in 2012.

Dan received his MBA from the University of New Hampshire in Plymouth, N.H. and resides with his wife of 40+ years Eileen in Ft Myers and enjoys playing golf; reading and spending time with his grandchildren.
