David Diamond

Member of LCOB Advisory Council

David is best known as the Co-Founder/President of one of Florida’s largest companies, the DeAngelis Diamond Construction family of companies that include DeAngelis Diamond Construction Inc., DeAngelis Diamond Healthcare Group, DeAngelis Diamond Homes and BUILD LLC. David has also launched over 20 successful startup companies with a focus in consumer internet, mobile technology, social networking, health care, lead generation, and education technology. Three of his companies have been acquired by Google, Amazon and Trip Advisor and Venture X is David’s newest endeavor. David travels domestically and abroad directly involving himself in many humanitarian causes to raise awareness world wide.

Locally, he serves on the Board of the Naples International Film Festival, the Gulf Coast Venture Development Organization, and enjoys guest-speaking engagements on the topic of entrepreneurship at several universities including Florida Gulf Coast University, Ave Maria University, and the Nalchik Business Institute Russia where David is an Honorary Professor.

Recent awards and recognitions include induction into the Collier Business Hall of Fame, being named by Gulfshore Business magazine as one of the 41 People with the Most Clout in SWFL and named the 2012 En­trepreneur of the Year by Gulf Coast Business Review.
