Alan D. Reynolds

Member of LCOB Advisory Council

Alan Reynolds is Vice President of Stantec Consulting Services, one of North America’s largest engineering, planning and design firms. Formerly, he was Chairman & CEO of WilsonMiller, which merged with Stantec in 2010.

His areas of expertise include environmental design, land use and planning, strategic and rural land stewardship and he is a member of the American Planning Association & Urban Land Institute. During his 35 year career, Reynolds has served as the principal planner for more than 100 communities in the US & Caribbean Basin, as well as principal planner for Ave Maria New Town and University and was part of the planning team for Babcock Ranch, the largest single conservation acquisition in Florida’s history.

Reynolds contributes time to many professional, civic, educational and cultural organizations such as the Florida Council of 100, former President of the Naples Area Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the Economic Development Council of Collier County and was appointed by the Governor to the SW Florida Regional Planning Council to name a few. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of FineMark Bank Holdings and the Florida Chamber Foundation Board of Trustees.

Reynolds attended Miami University where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Design. He studied abroad at London’s Architectural Association and was an AFS exchange student in Ethiopia.
