Message from the Dean

On behalf of the faculty and staff of the Lutgert College of Business, congratulations on attaining an FGCU degree.  Whether you earned a bachelors or a masters degree, you have earned the title, and we are proud to call you, alumni of Florida Gulf Coast University.  As an “EAGLE” with a business degree, you have been well prepared, in the words of the FGCU Alma Mater, “to fly where your wings will take you.”  As you build your career, we wish to remind you of the LCOB’s watch words: Accountable, Innovative, Connected, Sustainable.  With continued attention to the core values of the college, you will be a critical part of the value we hope we are adding to your career and to the current and future economic vitality of Southwest Florida.  As alumni, you are forever connected to FGCU and we to you.  Take every opportunity to make learning a lifelong passion so that over time you will continue to bring new skills into your organizations and professions to empower the future of business.
