They’ve traded in their flip-flops for cowboy boots. Two FGCU Eagles , Craig Poe and Megan Hough, have left the sandy shores of Southwest Florida for the opportunity to work for the Four Seasons Resort and Club: Dallas at Las Colinas. MCraig and Meghanegan, a 2010 graduate, is moving up the ranks in the food and beverage side of the resort. She began her journey with the Four Seasons as a Manager in Training, or MIT, in their members only dining room, aptly named the Member’s Lounge. From there she battled the Texas heat by assistant managing the poolside restaurant The Cabana. After proving herself by setting revenue records at one of the properties toughest outlets, she has transitioned to the properties main dining facility, the four star, four diamond restaurant, Café on the Green.

Craig, started full time with the Four Season in December, heading out to Texas the week after graduating at FGCU. He began with the company as an intern in the summer of 2011, prior to graduation. It was during this internship he was exposed to one of the best training programs in the industry. He worked in nearly every outlet at the hotel, but with his primary focus on the front office and guest services. He was asked to return to the property as an MIT after his graduation in December of 2011. He currently is acting as the assistant manager of the Guest Services department, and is looking to follow in his fellow Eagle’s footsteps in moving up the chain of command.

Four Seasons is recognized worldwide as one of the preeminent premium brands in the hotel and resort industry. Eagles, Megan Hough and Craig Poe have been given a wonderful opportunity to professionally soar. With this ever expanding company, they may find themselves working in all four corners of the globe, but they will always hold true to the education and training that they received at Florida Gulf Coast University in the Resort and Hospitality Management program.
