DEANNA O. BURGESS, Associate Professor of Accounting. Ph.D. in Business Administration, University of Central Florida (1991). CPA. The New York Times recently drew international attention to Dr. Burgess' research on graphical reporting practices. She is an active speaker, has served as presenter for the National Judicial College sponsored by the AICPA, and is the 2004 FICPA Outstanding Educator. Research interests are in consumer abuses, earnings management and fraud.
