Collier County Child Advocacy Council Inc., Child Protection Team provides a medical and social diagnosis of child abuse and neglect. Medical evaluations and specialized (forensic) interviews of children who are suspected of having been physically or sexually abused are preformed at the agency. Crisis intervention and child advocacy are provided. The team works in cooperation with the Florida Department of Children & Families, law enforcement, and the Office of the State Attorney to provide a coordinated multidisciplinary approach to the investigation, intervention and treatment of child abuse and neglect. The Family Visitation Center provides child and family assessments, supervised visits and safe exchanges for families with a history of domestic violence. |
| Job Description: |
Visitation Failitator: To provide safe and monitored visitation and exchanges for children. Responsible for maintaining accurate records, providing detailed observation reports, scheduling and coordination of visits for children exposed to domestic violence. Must be computer literate, have a basic knowledge of child development and an understanding of domestic violence. Degree should be in social work, psychology, or other related field of study. |
