Society of St. Andrew (SOSA) coordinates with farmers throughout the country to feed the hungry. SOSA is based upon the principle of gleaning-recovering crops that can be used, but that would otherwise be left unused, and providing them to people in need. |
| Job Description: |
Contact perspective donor farms; Prepare mailings for prospective farms;glean produce/citrus; speak to church or civic groups about SOSA/gleaning to recruit gleaners or tother volunteers; other duties as volunteer and area coordinator determine. Information and training will be provided. |
