Details: Lutheran Services Florida (LSF) is a non-profit, statewide, social service agency. More than 500,000 people in need have received assistance from LSF since it was established in 1982. Services provided in the SW Region include: Oasis Youth Shelter, Family Counseling, Child Welfare Program and Disaster Response Programs.
Job Description: Lutheran Services Florida is looking for volunteers for its Supervised Visitation Program. Primary responsibilities include: Support child with visitation, encourage interaction between child and parent, intervening or stopping the visit should there be inappropriate language or conduct, act as a neutral, open minded observer, record observations to submit to referring case worker, participate in training courses as necessary.
Times of Work: Weekdays daytime, Weekdays evenings

Benefits Offered: Volunteers will be honored with an awards banquet. In addition, Volunteers will receive continued support and appreciation throughout their time with the program.
Additional Information: Volunteers will be required to participate in a one day, eight-hour training and also be willing to submit to a background screening.
