Everglades Wildlife Sanctuary
||The immediate purpose of the Everglades Wildlife Sanctuary and Rehabilitation Center is to administer veterinary care and treatment to sick, injured, and abandoned wildlife in South Florida. Additionally, the Sanctuary provides suitable areas of rehabilitation; offering wildlife the necessary time to recover for release or placement.
A primary goal is to assist the community through educational programs on the importance of wildlife management. Education and community involvement are imperative to prevent the permanent and irreparable loss of birds and animals.
