Details: Quality Life Center is a youth development organization located in an underserved area of Fort Myers. We provide services to at-risk youth to help them become academically competitive, socially competent and ultimately successful adults.

Programs include preschool, afterschool and teen programs.

Our AFTERSCHOOL and TEEN PROGRAMS consists of homework assistance, tutoring, visual and performing arts, mentoring, leadership and life management skills for children and youth in kindergarten through 12th grade.
Job Description: SPECIAL PROJECTS: We welcome volunteer-lead academic projects! Teach basic physics concepts as you help kids build a machine; lead a discussion about a topic of interest then work together to create a spoken word poem or skit - and perform it! The possibilities are endless! Bring your friends, your ideas, your skills and interests!

ENVIRONMENT: Creation of an environmental program to teach young people environmental awareness and conservation. Create and run a recycling program on our site for the students.

FUNDRAISING/MARKETING/PR: Special Event assistance (planning, decorating, setup, breakdown, greeters, ushers, etc.)

MENTOR: Hang out with, help with homework, talk, play = mentoring youth in our programs

TUTOR: Provide academic assistance to students ages 2 to 18. Read with a child, help with math mastery; there's always someone who could use your help!
