AFCAAM is a community organization focused on empowering people and communicating values and serving the Black community of Lee County. We offer mostly empowering educational opportunities for kids and adults. Our focus is on helping people help themselves. |
| Job Description: |
Tutors assist students on a one-on-one basis on different school subjects with compassion and care for the kids. We need individuals who can challenge kids to take school work seriously. Youth counselors help develop activities and accompany youths during events and activities. We need good role models who can challenge and inspire. Fundraising/Marketing persons should be energetic and imaginative individuals to assist us structure and organize fundraising events. AFCAMM hosts an Annual Golf Tournament around late Spring, and always needs help for this. Seek out this position in early to mid April. AFCAMM also has an ongoing project called The Joshua Project where they collect used young children’s books (K-4). They can always use help with the collecting of the books.
