Life Choice is a resource for women with an unplanned (crisis) pregnancy providing free pregnancy tests, practical and emotional support and community referrals. Life Choice provides support for women who have had an abortion in the form of an 11 week support group. |
| Job Description: |
CLIENT ADVISOR/ADVOCATE- provide crisis intervention for clients through listening and other helping skills, provides accurate information and education on abortion, adoption and parenting along with providing resource referrals and following up with clients. RECEPTIONIST- greet and screen clients calling or coming to the Center while the office is open, answer phones and make referrals. TEAM LEADER-assist the Director in facilitating the growth of volunteers and in the oversight of the daily operations of the center, must have at least one year experience with Lice Choice. HELPLINE- will provide a point of contact for clients seeking our services during the hours the office is closed. Helpline volunteers will promote the center as a place where clients will recieve assistance. They will provide crisis intervention through listening skills and other helping skills. They also schedule appointments and make referrals. POSTABORTION GROUP LEADER- will facilitate the PAS group bible studies to provide a safe, healing place for women who have had an abortion. |
