Details: The Edison Festival of Light, Inc. is a non-profit corporation which is a volunteer driven group with a 501c3 status. The primary purpose is to produce civic celebrations honoring Thomas Edison and to promote educational, artistic, charitable, and historical events.
Job Description: Volunteer to help with the largest night-time parade in the country or at one of our other signature events including the Lee County STEMtastic! event for kids, the Food Truck & Craft Beer classic, the Mutt Strut or other Festival events. Morning and evening shifts available. Dates for 2016 include February 13 & 14th and 20 & 21. Volunteers needed for planning, prep, logistics, ticket sales, and office work. Available week days? We can use you!

Benefits Offered: Festival events are free to attend, but volunteers receive a t-shirt and credential for the festivities. Lunch will be provided if hours worked are over 6 per day.
Additional Information: 2016 will be our 78th year illuminating the southwest Florida community! All our events are about honoring Thomas Edison in a fun and entertaining way!
