Challenger Baseball, for children with disabilities that prevent them from participating in normal recreational activities such as the baseball summer league.

Job Description: Assist children (age 4 to high school age), with disabilities (nonviolent) in all aspects of playing baseball (very informal) for an hour or more each Saturday morning from January to May. We play games at Three Oaks Park, Lehigh Community Park and Burton Field (Cape Coral) on an alternating schedule.

Watching children hit a ball for the first time, making new friends who will never forget the time you spend with them, knowing you were able to change a child's life, and help them do things they normally couldn't do.

Additional Information: Games are normally held at 10:00AM on Saturdays from January to May. Opportunities may exist to help out with other Special Events such as our Easter Egg Hunt, Lakes Park Picnic, Charity Golf Tournament, and our Awards Day festivities.
