Details: JDRF is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. JDRF's goal is to progressively remove the impact of T1D from people's lives until we achieve a world without T1D. JDRF collaborates with a wide spectrum of partners and is the only organization with the scientific resources, regulatory influence, and a working plan to better treat, prevent, and eventually cure T1D.

As the largest charitable supporter of T1D research, JDRF is currently sponsoring $568 million in scientific research in 17 countries. In 2012 alone, JDRF provided more than $110 million to T1D research.
Job Description: There are several opportunities for various types of jobs.

Walk to Cure Diabetes - Fort Myers, November 8th 2014, need help with the planning and execution of the event. Particularly on walk day, with set-up and break down/clean up. Route monitors, registration etc.

Hope Gala & Lucas Cup Golf Tournament - Naples, March 8th-10th 2015. Help with all aspects of planning the event and setting up and breaking down/clean up.

Need someone to help with marketing and creating flyers for events. Drafting the weekly emails & monthly newsletter to the chapter. As well as keeping up with the Social Media for the chapter.

Also there is office work such as answering phones, filing, mailing etc.
