CSPD/SIG is a federal grant project in the College of Education that offers technical assistance and service to professionals and parents in the field of special education. The grant offers the opportunity to work with a variety of leaders in the field throughout our region. The grant is primarily an outreach project targeting recruitment, retention, certification, dessimination, specialized training & systems improvement. The diverse tasks of the project offer many varied service-learning opportunities. |
| Job Description: |
The student works with the Project Director to design and deliver an individual service-learing project. The project is tailered to the student's interests and talents. Opportunties include research, public relations, bookkeeping/accouting, database development/management, grant writing and more. The project is in particular need of students with web page development/maintenance experience, Microsoft Publisher experience, and database experience (Access & Excel). Ther may be some opportunities for paid work. |
