Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve is managed by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection Office of Coastal and Aquatic Managed areas in partnership with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). The mission of the Reserve is to provide a basis for informed coastal decisions through land management, restoration, research and education. The Reserve works in partnership with local communities to promote coastal stewardship. |
| Job Description: |
A wide variety of service-learning opportunities exist at the reserve, including Touch Tank Interpreter, Fish Feeding, Interpretive programs, visitor services, working with school groups, invasive plant control and trail maintenance, special events assistance, public outreach, butterfly garden, and archivist.

Rookery Bay headquarters are located on Tower Road off County Road 951 (Collier Boulevard) in Naples. From FGCU: take I-75 south to exit 101. Exit to the right and take County Road 951 South. Continue South across US 41, Tower Road is the first right. Make the first left on Tower Road.
