First Serve's FLASH is a Family Literacy program at the Schandler Hall community center in Tice, Fort Myers. We are a nonprofit organization offering ESOL, Basic Literacy, Computers, Vo-Tech, Tennis, Nutrition, and more than 12 other programs. By offering these programs, we hope to better the community, by improving the outlook for families in the area. |
| Job Description: |
Our volunteers must be at least 16 years old. In order to tutor, a volunteer must hold a high school diploma. The volunteer may be asked to supervise the computer lab, assist with adult computer class, tutor in ESOL (English for Speaker of Other Languages), Basic Literacy, or help with any of the other programs we offer. |
