Bonita Springs Youth Program provides a safe, fun and positive environment with a variety of activities for teenagers to start and end their day. The program's activities are designed to nurture teens' self-confidence and self-esteem with character building activities that promote teamwork and leadership. The YMCA emphasizes fairness, caring, responsibility, respect and citizenship to all of its members.

Job Description:

Responsible for facilitating a positive and safe environment for the students at Bonita Middle School. Service Learning students would be doing any or all of the following: supervising karate and hip-hop dance classes, leading or assisting in Tennis or Golf Team drills and activities, building positive relationships with the students and coming a mentor, tutoring, helping with computer skills and playing organized sports with the kids. M-F 7-8:30am and M-F 4-5:30pm

Additional Information:

Students must wear a t-shirt or polo style shirt without any advertisements or profane language, tennis shoes or sneakers. Shorts must be long enough to pass the fingertip rule. Students MUST bring in their fingerprint card for processing BEFORE they can work with the kids. They can also get a fingerprint card from our office and have them done at the Sheriff's Office
